It is a luminous 100% pure bareMinerals finishing powder for the face. It has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey show as a product that is used on Oprah by her makeup artist everyday. Many women who do not use Bare Minerals Foundation use Mineral Veil - either alone with no foundation or with a liquid foundation or with another brand of minerals.
In addition to the minerals, Mineral Veil also contains cornstarch and does a great job of providing a perfect finish to your foundation. It is completely sheer, and it softens your look and makeup, minimizing the look of lines and pores.
Some Bare Minerals Foundation users with oilier skin and/or enlarged pores will use a "sandwich" of Mineral Veil - before and after their mineral foundation. This makes pores appear smaller and controls oil.
Do you need Mineral Veil? If you are using Mineral Foundation, use Mineral Veil to set and soften your look and it keeps your minerals in place all day. Completely sheer and ideal for all skin tones, Mineral Veil gently absorbs oil and minimizes the appearance of lines and pores without the build up of pressed or loose powders that contain parabens, waxes, dyes and binders.
